Fifty hair bands for under three quid sounds almost too good to be true. I've been looking into WROLY's budget hair bobbles to see if this is a genuine bargain or just cheap tat that'll snap after a week. The brand promises high-quality elasticity and comfortable all-day wear, but with no Amazon rating to guide me, I've had to dig deeper into the specs and features to work out what you're really getting for your money.
At 6p per band, these are undeniably cheap. The question is whether WROLY has managed to make something decent at this price point, or if you'd be better off spending a bit more on established brands. The 4mm thickness suggests they're not completely flimsy, but the marketing copy is heavy on promises and light on specifics.
The WROLY Hair Bands come as a pack of 50 black elastic bobbles, each measuring 4mm in thickness. That's a reasonable size — not too thin to snap easily, but not so chunky they'll dominate your hairstyle. The brand emphasises they're made from "high quality material" though they don't specify exactly what that means.
Black is probably the most sensible colour choice for a bulk pack like this. It blends with most hair colours and won't clash with different outfits. WROLY reckons you can even wear them on your wrist as simple bracelets, which feels like a bit of a stretch but I suppose it's possible.
Without being able to physically test these bands, I've had to rely on the manufacturer's claims about elasticity and durability. WROLY promises "perfect elasticity" and describes them as reusable for long-term use. At this price point, I'd be surprised if they match the longevity of premium hair ties, but they don't necessarily need to.

The 4mm thickness is a good sign. Really cheap hair bands often come in at 2-3mm and snap after minimal use. These should have enough substance to handle normal ponytail duties without immediate failure, though I wouldn't expect miracles when dealing with very thick or coarse hair.
Even if half these bands broke within a month, you'd still be getting 25 usable hair ties for £3. Compare that to branded alternatives where you might pay £3-4 for just 10-15 bands, and the value proposition becomes clear. This is very much a quantity-over-quality play.
The real test is whether they'll last long enough to justify the savings. If you're someone who constantly loses hair bands or needs them for messy jobs where they might get damaged, these make perfect sense. If you need something that'll survive daily gym sessions or very heavy hair, you might want to invest more.
The biggest downside I can see is the lack of variety. You get 50 identical black bands with no size options or different colours. Some people prefer thicker bands for secure hold or thinner ones for delicate styles. With WROLY, you're stuck with 4mm whether it suits your needs or not.

The customer service promises sound reassuring — they mention money-back guarantees and prompt complaint handling — but without established Amazon reviews to verify these claims, it's hard to know how they perform in practice.
For £2.99, these are worth a punt if you need basic hair bands in bulk. They won't compete with premium brands for longevity, but at this price they don't need to. Perfect for schools, gyms, or anyone who loses hair accessories regularly.
